At the surgery we offer a triage service for things that are considered urgent for the same day. Your call will be taken by a member of our switchboard/reception staff who will need to ask for an up-to-date contact telephone number so that a member of the medical team can contact you.
When a nurse/GP contacts you, they will assess with you the problem and can offer you a number of services: telephone advice, an appointment with one of the Nurses or GPs for that day or a booked appointment for a later date.
This service is available all day and the Access team will be run by a different Doctor every day.
You can pre-book an appointment for up to 3 weeks in advance. Unfortunately we don't offer doctors appointments on our online app currently. If you have a specific doctor in mind that you would like to see, an appointment with them may result in a longer waiting time. There are also a number of emergency appointments with a doctor on the same day but will be triaged by the Access GP first via a telephone consultation.
If you are registered with the practice, you can now book your appointments online. By doing this, you will need to come into the surgery and ask to fill in an application form to register for the online service; a form of I.D will need to be provided at this point.
